Does Wndrfalk cost anything?

No. Wndrfalk is a free, private project without ads.

Do I need an account?

No.

Where is my data, and who sees my projects?

Your data is in your browser's storage on your device. Wndrfalk has no server where your projects are stored, and the developer receives no project data. The data leaves your device only when you share it or export it as a file. More is under Data and in the privacy policy.

Is my data gone if I lose or change my phone?

Without an export, yes, because Wndrfalk cannot restore lost data. Export your data regularly. On the new device, you import it again.

How do I use Wndrfalk on a second device?

By hand with Export data and Import data. This is described under Data.

What happens if I change the browser?

Every browser has its own storage. In another browser, Wndrfalk is empty. Export your data in the old browser and import it in the new one.

My data is suddenly gone. What could be the reason?

Wndrfalk stores your data in your device's browser. Data is missing if you worked in a private window, if browser or site data was deleted, if you use another browser or profile, or if you confirmed Delete all data on this device. On iPhone and iPad, Safari can delete a website's data if you do not use it for seven days. According to the browser developers, web apps on the home screen have their own counter. So put Wndrfalk there and export your data regularly.

Does Wndrfalk remind me of tasks?

In part. While Wndrfalk is open, it shows a notification at the time of a task if you switch that on under Me › Notifications at the set time. When the app is closed, you will not get a notification, because there is no server that could send it. For a reminder even then, add the event to your calendar with Add to calendar: Calendar and notifications. You also see due and overdue tasks under Today.

Can several people work in the same project at the same time?

Not in a shared live view. Each person has their own data on their own device. Collaboration works through packages that you pass on as a link, QR code or text: Collaboration.

Does Wndrfalk work without internet?

Yes, once the app has been loaded and saved on your device. A new version of the app needs a connection.

I forgot the password for my file. Can you open it?

No. Without the password, nobody can open the file, not even Wndrfalk. If you still have the data on a device, export it again there.

Does Wndrfalk run on iPhone and Android?

Wndrfalk is a web app for iPhone and Android. You open it in the browser and add it to the home screen: Getting started.

Which languages does Wndrfalk come in?

The app and this guide come in German, English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish and French. You choose the app language under Me. The legal texts are available in German and English.

How do I report a problem or an idea?

In the app, open Me › Help › Report a problem or idea. Wndrfalk prepares an email with diagnostics that contain no project content. What happens to your message is described in the privacy policy.

How do I get a new version of Wndrfalk?

Wndrfalk checks for new versions in the background and switches by itself when you are not editing anything. If that takes a while, the bar A new version of Wndrfalk is ready. with Update appears. Your data is kept. What is new is listed under Me › About Wndrfalk › What’s new.
