1. What Wndrfalk is
Wndrfalk is a free, private project. It has no advertising, no price and no payment function.
2. Use
You must be at least 16 years old to use Wndrfalk. You may use Wndrfalk free of charge, privately and for work. All rights are reserved. You may not copy, modify or pass on Wndrfalk unless the law allows it. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded (for example under sections 69d and 69e of the German Copyright Act) remain unaffected.
3. Your data and your backup
Your data is stored on your device. I have no access to it and cannot restore it. Back it up regularly: choose “Export data” and save the file in a place of your choice. If you delete your browser data or lose the device, the data on that device is gone. If you lose the password for encrypted files, nobody can restore them.
You are responsible for the content you enter, including data about other people. If you use Wndrfalk for work data, use it only if your employer allows it.
When you share, packages are not encrypted. Recipients can pass the content on.
4. Ongoing development
Wndrfalk is under development and may contain errors. Features may change or be removed. I do not promise permanent availability or freedom from errors. Calculations are aids. Check them before you decide.
5. Liability
I am liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for harm to life, body or health, and where the law makes liability mandatory (for example under the German Product Liability Act). For simple negligence I am liable only for breach of an essential duty, and only for the typical, foreseeable damage. For loss of data this covers at most the effort that restoring the data would have taken if you had backed it up regularly. Otherwise I am not liable for simple negligence.
6. Sanctions
Use is not permitted
- in Russia, Belarus, North Korea and Iran, or in Crimea, Sevastopol and the areas of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts not controlled by the Government of Ukraine,
- by the governments of these states and their bodies, or by persons, organizations and bodies established in these states or areas or acting on their behalf,
- by persons, organizations and bodies listed on a sanctions list of the European Union,
- in any other case where providing Wndrfalk would breach the sanctions or export control law of the European Union or Germany.
Access from some of these states is technically blocked. The block does not mean that use by other means is permitted.
